I took on the big project of developing my companies identity and re-designing the entire idePoP® Creative Design website.
As the market evolves and the company grows its imperative to reflect these changes in the identity. Although they may only be subtle changes, they are still significant changes. Many of the reasons my identity looks the way it does are still present today and will continue to be a driving force behind idePoP®, which is why it does not make sense for drastic change.
The new website introduces HTML5 video making the experience more interactive, a dedicated wordpress blog (blog only), a cleaner and more informative layout, and some slight but key visual changes. The idePoP® colours have been adjusted (not changed as they represent optimism/excitement), but refined as picture. Also the typeface has been dropped and replaced with a similar but slight more appropriate font which is integrated using a @font-face CSS.
Overall the impact is clear to see. The old site was not terrible (in some respects it was better than many), but the new site shows our willingness to evolve and always demand more from design.
